Tom Hardy might be an award-winning actor, but it turns out he has many other talents after winning a gold medal at a Jiu-Jitsu tournament.

The Peaky Blinders actor is no stranger to stunts and fight scenes on the big screen and evidently, he is no different in the real world as Hardy has won a gold medal at the REORG Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship at Aldersley Leisure Village.

Hardy is an ambassador for the REORG foundation, which sponsors Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for disabled combat veterans in the UK suffering from serious injuries and/or post-traumatic stress disorder.

The actor has been training in martial art for years and it showed after he walked away with the top prize in the BJJ tournament.

You can watch how he did in the video below:

This comes after news that Hardy would be teaming up with Jodie Comer for a new film titled The Bikeriders.

Inspired by Danny Lyon’s 1967 book of the same name, the movie focuses on a motorcycle club in the 60s over the course of ten years as it grows from a community for outsiders into something much more sinister.

The book of photographs featuring America's bikers didn’t cause much of a stir upon its release, but today it is recognised as a seminal work of documentary photography.

Elvis star Austin Butler will also be joining the cast with Jeff Nichols, who has previously helmed the likes of Mud and Midnight Special, will serve as director.

Currently, there are no other details surrounding the film, the characters that the three will portray or a release date, but filming doesn’t begin until October this year- so we may have a little while to wait.

In the meantime, you can catch Hardy in the upcoming Netflix movie Havoc, set to be released later this year.
