The winner of The Traitors series two has revealed what he did with his massive cash prize.

As one of the Traitors in the most recent series of the hit reality competition, Harry Clarke was known for his clever/sneaky tactics throughout the show, and the incredibly dramatic finale saw him basically throw his pal Mollie under the bus by convincing her that he was a Faithful in order to take home a cool £95k.

But what happened to prize fund has shown a more generous side to the former British Army engineer.

In a recent interview on ITV's Lorraine, Harry confirmed that he gave the dosh to his mum and dad. “I just sorted them out,” he told the Scottish host.

“I mean, my whole way through life, it was just all about my family, my loved ones and my other half,” he continued: “As long as I’m there to provide for my family, that’s all that matters to me. So being able to pay off their debts and things like that, and now I’m taking them away for a family holiday.”

When Lorraine told Harry he was “actually lovely,” he replied: ““I don’t actually lie and deceive people all through my life!”

With series three of The Traitors in the works, Harry had some surprising advice for future contestants when speaking with virginradio.co.uk and other press at the BAFTA TV Awards 2024.

From the red carpet at London’s Royal Festival Hall, he told us: “I've always said this, which is absolutely mental, and everyone says, 'you're an idiot', but my best advice is you have to go in there and trust someone. And obviously, the whole game is about not being able to trust anyone, but you need that person there on your team.”

Given that Mollie put all of her trust in Harry and walked away with nothing but egg on her face, that might seem strange, but the winner explained: “If you go in as a solo ranger, and you've got theories or you've got things you want to bring to the table, you've got no one to back you or support you.

"No one's gonna go with you and jump on your bandwagon that you need to create. And then also works vice-versa if someone's coming at you and wants you to be gone. If you've got no-one to stand up and support you and say how they believe in you. You're done. "

He added: “You need to go in there with open arms, play as yourself and be an open book. Don't hide anything. But then also find a person or two that you can trust.”

Harry also told us that he originally felt very unsure about becoming a Traitor, and that he “tried to cheat” on his first day. Read all about it here.
