The Good Karma Hospital viewers shocked at “tense” season finale

It has also been confirmed the show will return for a fifth season.

The season finale of the beloved medical drama from ITV aired last night, and viewers were on the edge of their seats.

The series stars Amrita Acharia as Ruby Walker and follows the story of the junior doctor after she moves from London to India to distract herself from heartbreak.

During the season finale last night, fans of the show feared the worse after a patient turns and threatens Greg (Neil Morrissey) and the rest of the staff with a knife after finding out his wife had died in their care following a car accident.

Tensions reached a high as Greg approached the patient, who was holding a knife to Dr. Niki Sharma’s (Rebecca Ablack) neck.

Fans began to think the worst when watching the scene and took to Twitter to share their fears.

One person wrote: “This is so tense.”

Another said: “I’m so worried this is going to end badly 😱 #GoodKarmaHospital”.

A third wrote: “It's been extremely funny and stressful tonight. Brilliant episode and balance” and another added: “I was so scared one of the team was going to die, phew.”

After all that drama, viewers of the show also commented on how much they had enjoyed the latest series.

One person wrote: “OMG! The Good Karma Hospital! Best show ever! Finale tonight of season 4 was the best writing ever! Dan Sefton is SO talented! Amanda and Neil..couldn’t love you 2 more! Ruby and Gabriel back…Yay! Waiting impatiently for season 5. 🙏🏻”
