The dulcet tones of the former Bridgerton star are set to be heard (read: swooned over) in a new nature documentary for the streaming giant.

Directed by Planet Earth II's Matt Meech and Human Planet's Renée Godfrey, the special will be based on the Okavango Delta, described as 'a vast oasis, isolated from the rest of the world by unforgiving desert' and will drop on March 3, 2022.

The official synopsis reads: "It's also a refuge, built and maintained daily by its inhabitants; in return, it caters for their every need. Big cats may appear to reign here, but in reality, the fate of every creature, great and small, is intertwined.

"This film explores the blueprints for building the perfect world, managing it sustainably, and maintaining it – despite extremes of drought, famine, and flood."

One fan commented: "I think Netflix has a crush on Regé just like the rest of us."

Another added: "Fabulous a wonderful voice, I will be swept along with the gracious tone of Regé's smooth and sensual talking. Thank you Netflix UK & Ireland, looking forward to this treat!"

A third asked: "How can you not know a person and miss their smile? Thanks for sharing!"
