That does impress us much (Oh oh oh oh).

Country pop queen Shania Twain has bagged her third Official Number 1 album with Queen of Me

The race to the top of the Official Albums Chart was a two-horse race all week, with RAYE - who in 2021 revealed that her then record label, Polydor Records, had been withholding her not charted debut album for several years - running her close, but ultimately the Canadian was top of the pops.

Shania has previously enjoyed UK chart-topping success with Come On Over (1998) and Now (2017).

Queen Of Me, the singer's sixth studio album, also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, having sold the most copies on the format this week.

Why not listen to Shania's interview with Chris Evans on Virgin Radio here?

Shania, 57, said, "Let's go Official Charts!" before adding, "I'm very happy. Very happy. Thank you very much all to all you fans, just for still being here for me - for still being the ones - and I hope you love the album and that it cheers you up. That's the whole idea. It's my happy album. And I look forward to seeing you all out on tour. Thank you!"

Her new record is the singer's first since Now in 2017, and is her first to not be released with her previous label of 29 years, Mercury Nashville.

Shania will promote the album on the Queen of Me Tour, which is scheduled to begin in Spokane, Washington on April 28th, 2023, and will end on November 14th, in Vancouver, Canada.

She comes to the UK and Ireland in September. Tickets are available here.
