Goo Goo Dolls have confirmed plans for a UK and Ireland tour in 2023.

It will be the band's first visit to the UK/IE since February 2020 and will kick off in Dublin on the 13th of June 2023 before stopping in Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield and Manchester. The tour also includes a show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on the 20th of February.

Singer John Rzeznik said of the tour: “Hello everyone we are excited to be heading back to the UK and Ireland for the first time in over 3 years!  Robby and I can’t wait to see all your faces again!”.

The band have recently finished a huge 70 date tour of the US and have announced plans for another tour of the country in summer 2023.

Earlier this year, Goo Goo dolls released the 13th studio album with chaos in the Bloom, produced by frontman Rzeznik. The band also celebrated this year when their smash hit Iris achieved 1 billion streams on Spotify became the most streamed song from 1998.

Goo Goo dolls first formed in 1986 and, over the course of their career, have sold 12 million records worldwide, garnered 4 Grammy Award nominations and currently hold the all-time radio record for the most top ten singles.
