Can you believe it has been 20 years since Christina Aguilera released Beautiful?

Regularly chosen as one of her best songs, the tune still means a lot to many people after two decades.

Now, Christina has teased a new music video to mark the anniversary.

It was released in 2002 on her hit album Stripped, and she won a Grammy for best female pop vocal performance.

Suitably given the content of the song, Christina announced the news on World Mental Health Day (October 10).

She wrote: "In celebration of the 20 year anniversary of Stripped and World Mental Health Day, I’m honoured to share a new music video for Beautiful, coming October 19th".

Aguilera continued: "Tune out and turn in. Take your space, log off, put your mind, body, and soul first."

The lyrics address body image, insecurities and self-esteem.

The original video was hard hitting and won critical acclaim, and it seems the 2022 video is no different.

It shows a group of young dancers all looking into their phones with ring lights blazing, applying make-up.

They pile on the blusher, and voices can be heard saying "Life for a man is harder than life for a woman" and, "To be a woman, you need make-up," "Stop slouching and fix your posture."

Fans are already raving about the clip.

"This song and the Stripped album was a godsend to me, especially as a high schooler when it was released. Thank you and congratulations on this milestone," wrote one.

Another agreed: "This will save lives."
