Ian Brown has announced that he is hitting the road later this year, in what will be the first solo headline tour that he has embarked on in over ten years.

The former Stone Roses frontman will take to the stage at venues around England and Scotland in September and October. The tour will begin in Leeds on September 25th, before heading up to Scotland for dates in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Brown will then travel through Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, on the way to Bournemouth on the South Coast. After a show in Nottingham, the tour will reach its conclusion with a show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Friday 7th October.

Brown was scheduled to play TRNSMT Festival and Neighbourhood Weekender last year, but the appearances didn't end up happening. When pulling out of Neighbourhood Weekend, the artist tweeted that he refused "to accept vaccination proof as condition of entry".
