It’s only a few days until the hotly-anticipated new Stereophonics album lands, and the Welsh rockers have whetted our appetites by sharing another song from the record.

Yes indeed, while fans wait excitedly for Friday (March 4th) to roll around so they can hear the new album, Oochya!, in its entirety, they can wrap their ears around another slide from it, in the form of Right Place Right Time.

The song is the fourth taste of the band’s new LP, following on from the release of previous singles Hanging On Your Hinges, Do Ya Feel My Love?, and Forever.

Speaking to NME about the new song, frontman Kelly Jones said it was a “‘how did I get here’ kind of thing,”.

He explained: “I’ve never mentioned three girlfriends in one song before! It’s quite strange actually, but it’s about serendipity and destiny. That kind of song could go on forever if you named everybody in your life you’ve ever had an encounter with.”

Have a listen to the song here:

Along with the release of the the new song and album this week, there is plenty more to come from the band this year, as they are heading out on an arena tour in March and April, before playing two massive gigs at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in June.

As well as their own tour, Stereophonics will play at Victorious Festival, Y Not Festival, Big Feastival, Kendal Calling and Forest Live.

And that’s not all. The lads will be bringing their anthems to British Summertime at Hyde Park this July, where they will be supporting grunge heroes Pearl Jam for their second night on Saturday 9th July.

The Welsh rockers last played at the Royal Park over a decade ago, having performed for the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening ceremony.

Oochya!, the forthcoming twelfth studio album by Stereophonics, is released on 4th March 2022.
