What a line-up!

The good news keeps coming after the government's roadmap announcement.

Splendour Festival is the latest event to confirm it is going ahead. On Saturday 24 July 2021, Richard Ashcroft will join Supergrass as the festival headliners.

Several artists have been carried over from 2020's postponed event. It takes place in Wollaton Park every year (also known as the home of Batman's house.)

It's an eclectic line-up, with something for everyone. Rick Astley is sure to draw a crowd with ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’  as well as Becky Hill, and Tori Sheard.

Every year the festival gives a prime slot to a local artist, whoever wins the Future Sound of Nottingham competition. They get the chance of a lifetime to open a main stage.

The Vamps are due to headline the Confetti stage, and they were the first band ever to headline the O2 Arena five years in a row.

Belinda Carlisle and Britpop favourites Sleeper are also on the bill.

George Akins, DHP Family owner and says: "Richard Ashcroft is an icon of British rock, and we’re thrilled he’ll be joining us for Splendour 2021. With Supergrass, Rick Astley, The Vamps, Belinda Carlisle, Becky Hill and more, 2021’s line-up might be our most ambitious yet! We’ve still got so much more to be announced across all stages, and we can’t wait to deliver a Splendour that we think will be the best yet.”
