A week before his performance at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi, Lenny will release his hotly-anticipated new album, Blue Electric Light, on 24th May.
To get fans excited about the pre-match show, Pepsi has released an clip which sees the singer-songwriter slowly walk down a tunnel, paintbrush in hand, covering the walls in blue paint, all the while whistling the spine-tingling UEFA Champions League anthem.
Walking past the unmistakable Champions League trophy, the musician then does what countless schoolkids dream of, and steps onto Wembley’s hallowed turf.
Then, he rocks the heck out of the stadium by playing a version of his classic track, Fly Away, as the camera pans up and reveals a painted mural of his face covering the pitch.

Speaking about his upcoming appearance at Europe’s biggest club football match, the rock star commented: “I’m really looking forward to my performance for the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi in London, a city which holds a special place in my heart. It’s going to be such an exciting event ahead of a final that means so much to so many. We can’t wait to show you all what we have in store.”
As well as there being live commentary of the match on talkSPORT, a live blog will be running on talkSPORT.com. Meanwhile, TNT Sports have the TV rights to the Champions League in the UK, so the game will be shown there. In the last couple of years, the big match has also been streamed free-to-air on YouTube.
England fans will be keen to see how former Dortmund man and current Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham gets on in the match, ahead of playing for the Three Lions in Euro 2024.
Real Madrid play Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday June 1st at 8pm, and commentary will be live on talkSPORT.
