James play love at Virgin Radio.

James played new songs and an old favourite when they visited Virgin Radio following the release of their latest album, Yummy, which is out now.

Joining the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with webuyanycar to talk about their new album and tour, the Manchester band performed a cracking session on the Stool of Rock.

Tim Booth, Jim Glennie, Mark Hunter and Chloe Alper played three songs from the top of the tower, including two from Yummy, which landed on Friday 12th April. 

One of the new tracks that the band performed was Our World, which is the second single from the new LP.

The band’s live session also included the classic Say Something. 

This song is lifted from their fifth studio album, Laid, and is the fifth track on the record.

The album charted at number three in the UK upon its release back in 1993.

The third track that James played during their time at Virgin Radio was Is This Love. The song opens the new record, Yummy, which consists of 12 tracks.

James have also released a deluxe edition of the album, the 2nd CD of which is called Pudding and is made up of demos and “extra bits that didn't make it.”

Yummy is the 18th studio album from James.
