Another TikTok hack has gone viral, teaching you how to reheat rice with just one ingredient.
The genius idea was shared by Emily Mariko last year, and it has now been watched more than 80 million times.
Emily first went viral for making a salmon sushi bowl, but it was the method she uses to reheat her rice that caught everyone's attention.
She uses leftover rice to make the dish, and uses just one ingredient to get a perfect result every time.
Emily places a single cube of ice and puts it on top of the rice before microwaving it.
You'd be forgiven for thinking the ice would just melt away, but apparently, it helps to steam the rice.
Emily swears by the ice hack, saying it helps to keep the fluffy texture of the rice without making it soggy or sticky.
However, it's important to be careful when heating up any leftovers.
NHS guidelines say you must make sure that the rice has been stored correctly to not become ill from reheating it.
If rice is left at room temperature, it can cause bacteria to grow which can cause vomiting or diarrhea.
The NHS advises the safest option is to cool the rice as quickly as possible (ideally within 1 hour).
Next, keep rice in the fridge for no more than 1 day until reheating.
Always make sure it's steaming hot all the way through, and it's important not to reheat it more than once.
Food scientist Helen Conn says: “You should be mindful of cooking tricks you see online. You don’t want to get hurt trying these hacks.
"And you need to be mindful of harmful bacteria as food must be prepared safely.”
