Buckle up and get ready for a Fast X ride. The tenth instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise is on its way and it looks bonkers. Explosions, fighting, Vin Diesel and Jason Momoa going head-to-head and muscle-to-muscle — what more could we want?
Introducing new faces to the F&F family, Aquaman's Jason Momoa is high-kicking his way onto the big screen as villain Dante, while The Room's Brie Larson is taking on the role of Tess in the movie which is set to land on May 19.
For movie number ten, regular favourites are back including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang and Scott Eastwood, plus Rita Moreno as Dom’s grandmother.
The film’s synopsis explained: "Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica.
"New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son is the ultimate target of Dante’s vengeance."
Fans commented in their droves: "No matter how old I get these movies always carry the same level of excitement. Can’t wait!"
A second praised: "Soooooo soooooo happy. sitting on the edge of my chair waiting. Happy dance."

The newly-dropped Fast X trailer featured a lot of moments alluding to Fast Five, including the vault chase scene and the reveal that Jason Momoa's villain character Dante is actually Hernan Reyes' son.
Fast X director Louis Leterrier told Entertainment Weekly about the sequel's connection to Fast Five. Leterrier said: “[Fast Five] is easily the best movie of the franchise. It's the greatest. That chase with the safe, it's the greatest moment in cinema history, so we were like, 'Let's Rashomon this scene. What if we experience this scene through the eyes of Reyes, the guys who the safe belongs to, and Dom and Brian are the thieves that kill them?'"
The director added: "We took these scenes, and we created it through the eyes of the other guys.
"We see them from afar and they're like, 'Take them out. They're bad guys, they stole our safe'. That's what's interesting – by doing so, you guide the audience to rethink everything they've experienced in the entire franchise.
“Sure, your experience was 'that's the right thing to do': the truths through the eyes of Dom and the family. But the antagonists always had their point of view and their truth that's quite different from the other one.
“A good antagonist has their own truth, so that's what we [wanted to explore].”
Momoa said about his new character: "It's been hard because people always think I'm just this dude who plays [macho characters. But I want to be moved, I want something new. Things are changing, and even the villain roles I'm playing now are eccentric."
