Gordon Ramsay and daughter Tilly set for Celebrity Gogglebox

Celebrity Gogglebox might be about to get a whole lot more sweary, with Gordon Ramsay sitting on the sofa and casting his eye over the latest TV shows for a Stand Up to Cancer special.

The world-famous chef is joining the show with his daughter Tilly, who featured in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing. The presenter and social media star did well on the hit dancing show, making it as far as week nine with her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Now, she and her dad are grabbing the remote control and reacting to what is on the box, all for a good cause. 

In a statement, Gordon and Tilly said: "We're always happy to support the superb work that Stand Up to Cancer do, and despite our TV tastes being polar opposites, we had a lot of fun filming this very special episode of Gogglebox.”

The continued: “Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucketloads of money.”

And we won’t have to wait long to see the Ramsays make their debut on the show, as their episode of Celebrity Googlebox Stand Up To Cancer is airing this very Friday (28th October) on Channel 4.

Elsewhere in the show, viewers will be able to see much-loved Welsh singer Charlotte Church and Nine Perfect Strangers actor Luke Evans.

Charlotte said: “Cancer affects so many – with one in two of us getting a diagnosis in our lifetime – so we’re delighted we can play a small part in supporting the incredible work being done by Stand Up To Cancer.”

Luke said that it “means a lot” to be involved, adding: “‘I love the show so it’s a bit of a treat to be able to watch TV and enjoy some snacks, all for such a good cause – I can’t wait to see what we’ll be watching!’

Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
