David Schwimmer pokes fun at Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston in response to shower photo

David Schwimmer had the perfect response to his Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston’s latest Instagram post. 

Jennifer was sharing news of her upcoming Lolavie haircare range on her social media channel, and got fans talking with a picture of her in the shower while washing her hair. 

The actress, who played Rachel Green on the long-running sitcom, captioned the photo: “Something’s coming.”

The moment didn’t go unnoticed by David, who couldn’t help but take the mick out of his real-life friend on his own Instagram page. 

The Ross Gellar star posted a hilarious take on the shower photo, with lots of soap suds all over his face, eyes and hair. 

David captioned his playful snap: “@jenniferaniston - a towel I hope??”

Friends fans were loving the fun interaction between the former co-stars, almost a year after the reunion special brought back the famous cast.

Since then, Phoebe Buffay star Lisa Kudrow hinted she would be up for a reboot of the celebrated comedy, but on one condition. 

She gave her two cents on the idea when chatting to Where Is The Buzz back in March, and was asked about the potential for bringing back the beloved sitcom.

"I don't think there's gonna be a Friends reboot”, Lisa explained. "I mean, not with any of us in it […] but a reboot, you mean like, they hire other actors?"

When the reporter emphasised that it would be a reboot with new actors, Lisa continued: “I would love to see what the ‘now’ version of that would be. Not in it, not in it. I would love to see what that would be.”

During the 2021 special, in which Lisa joined co-stars Jennifer, David, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc, the topic of a reboot was brought up.

Lisa addressed it then, saying: “It's all up to Marta [Kauffman] and David [Crane] and I once heard them say, and I completely agree, that they ended the show very nicely….

"They would have to unravel all of those good things in order for there to be stories."
