Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning airplane stunt leaves people in awe

They don't make them like Tom Cruise anymore. The Hollywood star has blown minds in new 'leaked' video footage of him standing on a biplane with no harness in sight.

According to TMZ, the minute-long clip was leaked online without a traceable source and shows Tom Cruise announcing he's filming the latest instalment of Mission: Impossible and he's very excited.

Jaws dropped as the actor can be seen holding the biplane with just one hand with no harness in sight, another biplane flies next to him with a pilot and director Christopher McQuarrie in it, while a third biplane was in the background shooting the impressive scene.

Tom can be heard saying: "Hi everyone, wish I could be there with you, I'm sorry for all of the extra noise. As you can see I'm filming the latest instalment of Mission: Impossible.

"Right now we're over gorgeous Blyde River Canyon in stunning South Africa and we're making this film for the big screen for audiences to see in local theatres."

Coming up behind him, a yellow aircraft flies up to him and says: "Hey, uh, sorry to bother you, Tom. "Oh, hey, McQ... Chris McQuarrie."

The director continues: "Hey everybody. Listen, I hate to interrupt but we've really got to roll. We're losing the light and we're low on fuel."

Tom responds with: "Low on fuel? That's not good... See you at the movies."

Along with Cruise, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning will star Rob Delaney, Henry Czerny, Ving Rhames, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell and Cary Elwes.

Mission Impossible — Dead Reckoning is set for release on July 7, 2023.
