Stacey Solomon has impressed followers with her simple ice lolly-making method that children (and adults) will love – and it's not packed with sugar.

The Loose Women star showed fans how to make the tasty snack which involves chopping a banana in half and placing onto an ice lolly stick.

Submerge each banana half into natural yoghurt to make sure it's completely covered, then finish it off with a generous amount of sprinkles.

Put the banana lollies into the freezer, then wait for the magic to happen. Soon, there will be ice-cold healthy treats for the kids including her youngest children, son Rex, two, and daughter Rose, nine months.

She shared: "Rose loved it SOOOO much kept her going for about 20 minutes.

“Rex said they were ‘noice’ but honestly his face said otherwise. Think the natural yoghurt was a bit sharp but he ate it nonetheless."

The bride-to-be recently shared her top tips on getting the kids to wear sunscreen. She explained: "If I ever can't get suncream on Rex we have two make up brushes just for suncream makeovers.

"It really helps make it more fun."

Stacey has just taken on the role of co-host of Bake Off The Professionals. She told The Sun's TV Mag how emotional she was after filming the opening episode.

"My first weekend of filming was so dramatic," Stacey recalled. "I thought, 'Is this normal?' It was intense and crazy.

"It was just really frantic and a lot happened. Honestly my heart sank so many times on that first episode I thought I was going to cry.

"I was really nervous but they genuinely made me feel like I was part of the family immediately," she explained.

"Thank goodness for this, to have a bunch of people who really care about the show and want you to do well. A really lovely environment."
