The new TV adaptation of Dolly Alderton’s best-selling memoir is going down well with telly viewers.

Everything I Know About Love is based on Dolly’s 2018 book, in which four friends try to balance living in London with dating, friendship and love in their early twenties.

The series is set in 2012 and based on Dolly’s own experiences, meaning many fans watching found the fashion choices, music and lifestyle very relatable.

All seven episodes are up on iPlayer, and lots of viewers took to Twitter to share their love of the nostalgic feel of the drama.

One fan commented: “Watching Everything I Know About Love by @dollyalderton is making me mourn my twenties and I’m not even 30 yet. such a great adaptation of the book!”

Another wrote: “Everything I know about love is so nostalgic even down to the kate moss for topshop dresses and rizzle kicks on the soundtrack… perfect perfect perfect.”

A third said: “Can’t work out if it’s everything I know about love making me cry in my bedroom or just my early twenties which is probably what dolly alderton would want.”

“Everything I know about Love is bringing all the nostalgia of Alexa chung/indie girl sleeze fashion and Topshop Kate Moss collab & I am only one episode in,” shared a fourth fan.

Everything I Know About Love stars The Witcher’s Emma Appleton as the lead Maggie, alongside Bel Powley as Birdy, Marli Siu as Nell and Aliyah Odoffin as Amara with Connor Finch as Street, Jordan Peters as Neil and Ryan Bown as Nathan.
