This sounds like a massive headache. Imagine hair so heavy it has to be carted round in its own vehicle. The Bridgerton women's hairdos are so heavy, the stars and their giant wigs have their own transport.
The period drama is back on March 25 for season two and things are looking bigger, better and more buoyant than ever.
Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte) told The Sun about her hair-mare. She said: “My neck was getting tired, so the crew made me a neck brace. At one point I had to have a people carrier to take me and my wig to set.
“We were taught how to curtsy, how to open doors and how women would sit.
“But it was hard to lounge around in a corset and I was double corseted — I had two of the f***ers.”
Talking about the raunchy scenes in the Netlfix smash hit, main man Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) told Radio Times about getting intimate on screen: “There are new tricks to the trade — little cushions. It’s amazing what you can do with a half-inflated netball.
“If there are two people doing a sex scene, the rule is they must have three barriers separating them and there are certain acts where a half-inflated netball can allow for movement without having to connect physically.
“It’s pretty silly really and we have some hilarious moments. But it makes it less awkward.”
It puts new meaning into the word 'score'...
