If, like us, you’re waiting for summer to kick in, then we’re afraid we’ve got some bad news for you. It seems that autumn is officially almost here. However, don’t despair, because the bad news does come with a positive twist. The reason we know that autumn is coming is that Starbucks are bringing back their delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte this week!

Yes indeed, make the most of the last day of summer today, because the seasonal drink marks the start of autumn by returning to Starbucks as early as tomorrow (Thursday, 2nd September). The Pumpkin Spice Latte contains the familiar combo of espresso, steamed milk, and a mix of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. It is topped with whipped cream and, this year, it comes with a new addition.

From tomorrow, you can customise your drink with Starbucks Original Nut Blend, or go for the cool version with a PSL Frappuccino.

Prices start at £3.55.

It’s not just the Pumpkin Spice Latte that is hitting stores this week. There are a bunch of other new items coming to the menu. How about a brie, butternut and chutney focaccia? Or mac and cheese with kale and peas?

There is a new plant-based option in the form of the No’Meatball Marinara Wrap, which is made up of plant-based meatballs, a marinara sauce, a smoked cheese alternative, and baby kale.

If you’ve got a sweet-tooth, then you will be interested in the new s’mores brownie blondies. They are blondie bars filled with marshmallows and almonds, covered with a slice of chocolate brownie, topped with a marshmallow, chocolate drizzle and speculoos crumb.

The menu also contains butter croissants filled with an almond filling and topped with toasted flaked almonds and a dusting of powdered sugar.

Other new additions are Vegan Pumpkin Spice cookies, which are topped with pumpkin seeds and cranberries.

We’ll see you in the Starbucks queue on Thursday!
