It's hard not crying at the moment - and Holly Willoughby got caught out during an interview with some sweet nuns on This Morning.

The host was hit by an emotional moment as she spoke to the nuns about their chart-topping choir album.

The Poor Clares of Arundel nuns from the South East of England appeared on the show and left quite an impression on the mum-of-three.

Phillip Schofield joined her in the chat and asked about their lives in the convent. Sister Geraldine-Marie explained: "Of course it takes great courage, and you have to believe somewhere that ultimately it will work out and it will be OK."

Holly said tearfully: "You're going to make me cry listening to you!"

The Sisters told the pair about their music: "We are really thrilled that something of the essence of our life is helping people.

"We just want to say that when you listen to our CD if you're at home and you're fed up, or anxious, or feel depressed - somewhere in Arundel in West Sussex there's a community of women.

"We're here, and we're with you. We're making this journey as well."

Holly admitted: "Some people just talk and they really get you, don't they? That took me by surprise."

She tearfully added: "It's when somebody says it's all going to be OK…"

Leaning on Phil to take the lead, she said crying: "You're going to have to do this bit."

On her return, Holly laughed: "I've pulled myself together now."

Viewers were taken with the nuns too and commented online: "The Nuns on #ThisMorning are making me emotional, they’re so sweet."

Another added: "I don't know if it’s because of lockdown but @hollywills and the wee nuns have me in tears."

Another penned: "I'm in tears too!"
