Take That will dive into their impressive 30-year career as part of their latest project.

The trio, made up of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, will tell the story of the band “in their own words” as part of a brand new podcast series.

Across six episodes, the Relight My Fire hitmakers will “recount pivotal moments from their epic career, charting their journey from five young lads playing Manchester clubs to number one albums, record-breaking tours and everything in between”, according to the official synopsis.

The first episode will land on 19th October, with new episodes arriving on podcast platforms every week.

The in-depth audio series will follow Take That’s origins from the 90s until now, with Gary, Mark and Howard expected to share long-lost memories, previously unheard stories and even surprise video messages from some special guests too.

Speaking in the announcement statement, the band said: “Who’d have thought after all this time we’d be adding professional podcasters to our resumes?! It’s been a real treat to sit down together and just chat, about some things we’ve talked about before and some things we haven’t.

“We hope people enjoy listening to us as we reminisce on old times and look ahead to the future of Take That.”

The podcast announcement comes hot off the heels of Take That’s stadium tour reveal, as well as the news of their ninth studio album.

The new record, titled This Life, will be released on 24th November, with their first single in five years, Windows, out now.

This Life is Take That’s first record since 2017’s Wonderland, and promises to bring “beautiful melodies, soaring choruses and sophisticated harmonies.”

In a statement announcing the exciting news, Gary, Howard and Mark said: “It’s been a wonderful experience being back in the studio together making this record. It has that feeling of spreading your wings, letting out the old and bringing in the new.

“We’re incredibly proud of the new album - there’s a sense of togetherness, whether that’s us coming back together as a band or people wanting connection in their own lives. We’re excited for this new chapter!”
