Dolly Parton has shared she would love to star in a documentary about her life.
The singer joined The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch and told Chris that she would love to do a documentary about her incredible life and career.
Dolly also told Chris about future retirement plans and teaming up with big names for her new album.
It comes in the wake of a tell-all documentary made by Hollywood A-lister Arnold Schwarzenegger, called 'Arnold' which gave fans a chance to look at his life behind closed doors.
Split over three hour-long episodes, viewers have raved about the documentary.
Chris Evans asked Dolly if she would love to do something similar.
The star replied: "I hope to do a documentary on my life. I think those are wonderful!"
"I'm actually in the middle of doing a Broadway musical of my life, which I've been trying to do for 15, 20 years now, but pretty soon I'm going to be able to do that which tells a great deal of my life," she revealed.
"I've done different documentaries, many documentaries, but someday I would like to do a complete story of my life and document all the things that I have done, and have it done in documentary style," says Dolly.
Documentaries are fly-on-the-wall style and show stars and celebrities in a way we don't normally get to see. Chris asked her if she ever sneaks out without her famous wig: "Oh well, of course I don't always wear wigs. They're just so handy for me"."
"I do have blonde hair, and I do try to keep it pretty much the same length, and pull it up in little scrunchies and all that. I'm often with my husband when we go out running around in our little RV, our recreational van, I'm not so made up. But I'm not going to go out in public, like if I go shopping or something," she explains.
"I think if people see me, they expect me to look like the Dolly they know. If you want to be a star, you need to look like one."
Dolly also answered the rumours about writing two of her most famous songs in the same day.
Dolly’s album Rockstar is released on 17th November. Her book, Behind The Seams: My Life In Rhinestones is out on 17th October.
