It could be the more the merrier for Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash when it comes to kids. The couple have opened up about their plans for a potential sixth child — and the possibility of adopting or fostering.

The pair welcomed their fifth child, Belle, in February 2023, and actor Swash has spoken about taking in another child when their youngest is older.

The former EastEnders star, whose own mum has fostered children for over 15 years, told the Netmums podcast that he and Solomon 'definitely want to do' it at some point when 'the time comes'.

He explained that there's 'never been a distinction between [his] kids and Stacey's kids' and they're all 'one big family'. He added: "As long as the house is full of love and we all love each other exactly the same."

Although the duo aren't trying for a sixth member of their tribe and are taking 'every precaution possible to make sure' she doesn't fall pregnant again, Joe joked: "Before you know it you've got six!"

Joe admitted he's 'pretty sure that this is it', and although he's a fan of the baby and toddler stage, they 'can't go there again'.

"It is a little bit sad but I think this will be it," he said.

Last month, Swash paid tribute to his wife and 'superwoman' Stacey on social media.

The dad wrote: "Took this video of you before you went to work. Girls are having a sleep and can't stop watching it. Love u bub. Go and smash it today like you smash everything. Just look at you.
