Sir Rod Stewart has shared the moment he met his two new grandchildren for the first time, and it’s fair to say he look like a proud grandfather.

The Maggie May singer recently welcomed two more additions to his family, Oti Stewart Kalick and Louie, who more born just days apart.

In pictures shared to his Instagrams stories, Sir Rod can be seen beaming with pride and holding two new grandchildren with the caption: “Happy grandad”.

In one snap, Sir Rod cuddles Louie on an armchair and in another, he is cradling Otis and grinning at the camera.

This comes after Rod and wife Penny Lancaster renewed their vows for a second time last month.

The couple have been married for 16 years and previously renewed their vows for the first time in 2017, to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

While on tour in Australia Penny and Sir Rod apparently tied the knot again surrounded by their sons Alistair and Aiden and niece Raphaella.

An insider revealed: “There’s a very good reason why Rod’s insisted he space out his tour dates – it’s the perfect place and the perfect time to renew their wedding vows.”

The source also added the couple had plans to marry again but have put them on hold for now. They said: “Now they can’t wait and are using this chance to do something special while here.”

Sir Rod is currently gearing up to embark on a Global Hits tour in the summer, starting on 24th June at Plymouth.

The singer will also stop in Northampton, Durham, Bristol, Hull before finishing up in Edinburgh on 6th July. He will be joined by special guests Johnny Mac and the Faithful to perform some of his biggest hits, including Maggie May, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy and Baby Jane.
