It's all change on the small screen. New Big Brother presenter and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant AJ Odudu has quit her E4 job fronting Married At First Sight: Afters.

The star is hanging up her MAFS-spin-off boots now she's bagged the new Big Brother job on ITV alongside presenter Will Best.

She told The Sun: "I can’t do it this year – I’m so sad about it. I love Married at First Sight.

"I'd love to host it again, I'm obsessed with that show but I don't know when that will happen."

She added: "Everyone has been so complimentary about Big Brother - I'm just enjoying it."

On sharing the job with fellow presenter Will, AJ said: “I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier.

"Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Will added: “I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear.”

The new Big Brother is set to land this autumn, while MAFS UK is thought to walk up the TV aisle in late August.
