Michael J Fox cozied up to his wife Tracy Pollan on a date night to an ice hockey game ahead of the release of his documentary.

The Back To The Future actor was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease when he was 29-years-old and, as a result, stayed out of the spotlight for many years.

Parkinson’s is a degenerative condition in which parts of the brain progressively become more damaged. It can lead to involuntary shaking, slow movement, stiff muscles and memory issues. Now, Michael is exploring his journey with the condition is his new documentary, Still.

Ahead of its release, the actor enjoyed a date night with his wife Tracy, as the pair travelled to Madison Square Garden to watch an ice hockey game.

The pair have been married since 1988 and cuddled up smiling for the cameras as they watched the New Jersey Devils go up against the New York Rangers.

In a first look at Michael’s new documentary, the actor explains how, when he was first diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s, he only told Tracy and his immediate family.

Now, he is a lot more open about living with the condition and he hopes his new documentary will bring “awareness” around the disease.

In a recent interview, he added he also wanted to make Still for his fans.

He explained: “They, along with my family, [have] been the reason I have been able to go on. My fans gave me life and I wanted to be open about mine.”

The actor went on: “Parkinson’s sucks, but it’s a great life, so thank you for it. Pity is a benign form of abuse. I can feel sorry for myself, but I don’t have time for that.”

Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie will be released on Apple TV+ on 12th May, 2023.
