I’m A Celebrity 2022: Who was the sixth star sent home from the jungle?

The final five in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 jungle was revealed after another star was sent home. 

On Thursday night (24th November) radio DJ Chris Moyles was left in the bottom two with comedian Seann Walsh, who was close to elimination twice in a row. 

Alas, the jungle journey had to come to an end for Chris, who was forced to pack up his hammock after receiving the fewest public votes after 20 days Down Under.

After walking across the famous rope bridge to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the broadcaster said in his exit interview: “I just said this morning in the Bush Telegraph, ‘I've got this now, I'd really like to stay.’

“I'm gutted Matt Hancock is more popular than me!” he exclaimed. 

Chris then admitted he felt like a “competition winner” after finally making it on I’m A Celeb, adding: “I never got over the surrealness of it all. I'd often be the last one go to bed and I'd go to the dunny and I'd look back and I'd go, ‘Wow!’

“It's such a privilege to be able to do it... To be a part of this is a real honour. I know I won't appreciate it until I'm out.”

The radio personality had openly struggled to spend time with the controversial MP Matt, and explained how he managed to “separate” the person from the politician. 

"We had to live with him and he was winning the stars and getting us food,” Chris shared. 

“Matt Hancock, I've got massive issues with, but Matt I've got less issues with.”

Chris’ exit means there are only five remaining stars in the camp - Seann, Matt, Mike Tindall, Jill Scott and Owen Warner. 

On Wednesday, ITV viewers said goodbye to comedian Babatúndé, who admitted he was ready to head back home. 

On how he found his time in the jungle, he explained: “I used to think to myself these guys were just playing and spending two and a half weeks in there, it’s hardcore. It’s intense.”

Other campmates who had their I’m A Celeb time cut short include Boy George, Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver.
