Get ready for some Hellraising horror. The iconic 1987 scary movie has a new TV spin-off series courtesy of Hulu and fans have lost the plot over seeing character Pinhead in its new trailer.

Villain Pinhead and the sadist-loving Cenobites have re-captured the imagination and fears of the audience in the first look at the upcoming terrifying feature.

The synopsis reads: "In this reimagining of Clive Barker's seminal Hellraiser franchise, a young woman must confront the sadistic, supernatural forces behind an enigmatic puzzlebox responsible for her brother's disappearance."

Jamie Clayton's Pinhead can be heard saying: "Great delights await. We wish to see you proceed. Feed it. Their blood. Their pain. All for us," as the trailer closes with a woman screaming.

One user commented on the trailer: "This looks awesome. Wish it was getting a theatrical release."

"Hearing the chimes of Leviathan ring out gives me chills! Cannot wait for this!!" praised a second.

"LOVE the hint of the classic theme in the music. This looks dope as hell. But if I opened the box my one wish would be to make this a theatrical release," wrote a third.

"This actually looks really good, very happy they're sticking to practical effects and not relying on CGI," applauded another.

The original cult movie - which racked up nearly $15 million dollars (£13m) - is based on a woman who 'discovers the newly resurrected, partially formed, body of her brother-in-law. She starts killing for him to revitalise his body so he can escape the demonic beings that are pursuing him after he escaped their sadistic underworld'.

The series has been written by Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica, Daredevil, Heroes), and Michael Dougherty (X-Men United, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Trick r’ Treat), and stars Clayton alongside Goran Visnjic, Hiam Abbass and Brandon Flynn.
