Jason Momoa to write and star in Chief Of War series for Apple TV+

It's all go for Jason Momoa. The multi-talented performer is set to star, write and executive produce an Apple TV+ straight-to-series offering Chief of War about about the history of Hawaii.

The eight-part series will be Momoa's first time writing for television and will be a personal project for the Hawaiian-born star.

According to Deadline, Chief Of War will be the 'epic and unprecedented telling of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view'.

The actor can currently be seen in Apple TV+ show See about a post-apocalyptic future where almost all remaining humans have lost their sight. Following the success of the second season in 2021 it has already been snapped up for a third.

Momoa is best known for his roles in Game of Thrones, Frontier, and films Aquaman and Justice League.
