Scarlett Johansson sang a duet with Bono for ‘Sing 2’ movie

There’s no end to Scarlett Johansson’s talents, as the new trailer for ‘Sing 2’ shows off her impressive vocals in a duet with U2’s Bono.

Just to add to the pressure of performing with a bona fide rockstar, she’s also performing a cover of one of Bono’s songs, ‘‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’.

Scarlett is repeating her role of Ash the porcupine from the 2017 film.

It’s a star-studded film, featuring the likes of Matthew McConaughey as Buster and Reese Witherspoon as Rosita the pig.

The brand new trailer shows Johansson’s porcupine shyly singing the intro to ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’, as the audience starts to sing along.

Bono plays the role of a reluctant rockstar lion, who then joins in for the closing seconds.

As well as voicing the character, U2 also contributed a new original song for the film, called ‘Your Song Saved My Life’ for the official soundtrack.

There are plenty of other hits included in the film, including Prince ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ and The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, as well as ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’ and another U2 tune, ‘Where The Streets Have No Name’.

Scarlett also performs ‘Heads Will Roll’ by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Also in the cast is Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric Andre, Chelsea Peretti and Bobby Cannavale. Quite the line-up!

Scarlett has released albums previously, including one in 2008 called ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’.

‘Sing 2’ is out in January.
