Channel 4 will reportedly no longer be working with one of the couples behind a very popular show, following investigations into alleged clashes with producers.

Dick and Angel Strawbridge and their show Escape To The Chateau will not be made by Channel 4 now.

The production company Two Rivers Media have also said they will no longer work with the couple, according to Deadline .

Deadline interviewed three of the couple's former colleagues.

They claim that that Dick and Angel have clashed with the producers.

A source said: "There has been a deteriorating relationship between Two Rivers and Dick and Angel’s Chateau TV for various reasons and it all came to a head."

"Producers turn them into this perfect, brilliant, funny couple. They’re that on camera, but that’s about it,’ another source added.

Another producer refuted this, calling them ‘warm and welcoming.’

Channel 4 ordered an independent investigation into their conduct which has now been completed, with a spokesperson telling "Following a review, we have taken the decision not to work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future.’

"We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment," added Two Rivers.

The latest series of their show, Escape To The Chateau: Secret France is reportedly in the editing process.

It hasn't been said by Channel 4 whether the show will air or not.
