To celebrate Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!), The Simpsons are feeling The Force in a brand new Disney+ short.

This time, Maggie gets a Mandalorian make-over during Maggie Simpson In Rogue Note Quite One, which is out on the streaming platform now as a love letter to the iconic sci-fi franchise.

Parodying The Mandalorian series, Maggie heads to a galaxy far, far away after being taken along to Moe’s Cantina with dad Homer. Escaping in her Grogu/Baby Yoda pod, she then spins out into orbit.

The official Disney+ synopsis adds: “Facing a squadron of Imperial TIE fighters, Maggie brings the battle to Springfield in this epic short celebrating all things Star Wars.”

It’s not the first time Maggie and her famous family have been out on a Star Wars adventure, and celebrated Star Wars in 2021 with The Force Awakens from Its Nap.

Speaking of Star Wars Day, Princess Leia star Carrie Fisher is due to receive her much-deserved Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today.

Fisher played Princess Leia in the original three Star Wars movies, A New Hope (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), and then reprised the role in The Force Awakens in 2015. The actor sadly died of a heart attack in 2016 at the age of 60. She appeared in the release of 2017’s The Last Jedi after her death, and archive footage was used for her appearance in The Rise of Skywalker in 2019.

Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, will accept the award on her mother’s behalf on Hollywood Boulevard near the historic El Capitan Theatre.

Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said in a press release: "Fans will be over the moon to know that their favourite movie princess, Carrie Fisher, will be honoured with her star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“Carrie will join her Star Wars co-stars and fellow Walk of Famers Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford on this historic sidewalk. I am happy to add that her star is just a few feet away from the star of Mark Hamill and across the street from the star of her legendary mother Debbie Reynolds!"
