Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Johnny Marr and Craig David have been announced for South Facing Festival next year.

The open-air show takes place at Crystal Palace Bowl in London between Friday 28th July and Sunday 13th August. Also announced for the lineup is Rudimental and David Rodigan & The Outlook Orchestra, plus many more.

The festival debuted in 2021 with a lineup of The Streets, Supergrass, Sleaford Mods and Max Richter. In 2022 the likes of London Grammar, Jungle and Richard Ashcroft took the stage when it returned.

Tickets for next year’s festival went on sale Friday morning (11th November) at 10am- and you can get your hands on them here.

This announcement comes after Noel Gallagher has made a return to music with a brand-new single featuring Johnny Marr.

The former Oasis front man released Pretty Boy last month (31st October), and becomes his first new music with the High Flying Birds project sine his 2017 LP, Who Built The Moon?

The song also features former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr and speaking about the new release, Gallagher said: “For this new record, it was the first thing I wrote, the first thing I demoed and the first thing I finished, so it’s only right that it’s the first thing people get to hear.

“Massive shout out to my main man Johnny Marr for taking it somewhere special. Oh … and watch out for a cameo from me in the video … first one to spot me wins a bag of Flamin’ Hot Wotsits Giants!!”

The singer also let slip his new album is on its way in May next year. In a new interview he was talking about his favourite football team, Man City and accidentally gave away more than he meant to, revealing when the next High Flying Birds album will be out.

The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column reports Noel as saying: “The team is doing good, we’re having a good season.

“Hopefully we will be in Istanbul around when my new album is out next May, so that would be good. It would be absolutely perfect. That’s the time of my birthday so it could well be the best birthday ever.

“I can’t say what the album is called yet though.”
