The 1975 tunes are coming through thick and fast, and fans have been treated to a brand new single - Happiness.
A month after they gifted fans with the first track, Part Of The Band, from their upcoming album, Matty Healy and the gang released their latest offering, called Happiness.
The upbeat track comes with a new retro-inspired music video, featuring Healy performing in a variety of vintage bars.
The 1975 are due to return with a new album on 14th October. They recently revealed that their new record - their fifth - will be called Being Funny In A Foreign Language.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Healy explained the meaning behind the new song, saying: “Happiness is like… there’s literally loads of us in the room on that track.
“[It] really doesn’t really have much structure. It came through like jamming, and we haven’t done that in like years. So we just wanted this record to be really like a captured moment and not be too constructed and even produced that much.”
The Chocolate singer added that the song was produced in only one day, and was just the band “having fun” while using as little new tech as possible.
Not only are fans over the moon with new music, but The 1975 also announced they will travel around North America for their At Their Very Best tour in November, which includes a date at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York.
No news on UK tour dates yet, but since 2021 was the first year since 2011 that the Manchester group didn’t play any live shows, it can't be long, surely.
Healy has kept busy by opening a few shows for Phoebe Bridgers as a solo act on her recent ‘Reunion Tour’ as of late.
Speculations of new music from The 1975 started in August last year when Healy teased he would be up for “making another classic record”. This was further fueled earlier this year after the band shared footage that appeared to show them back writing in the studio.
The band also teased fans for weeks before revealing the big news with a number of cryptic black-and-white posters popping up all over London in June.
1st June is symbolic for the band as their name is based on a poem with the date included, and it’s not the first time they’ve dropped significant news on this day.
Fans behind Twitter fan group @The1975_Tour have uploaded snaps of a black-and-white poster which seems to include a photo of frontman Healy layered over the same picture. It comes after the rockers deleted everything off their social media accounts in February, with many believing that was their first step in hinting at a new project.
