The project is called '50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults'.
The legendary rockers have announced that, beginning on July 29th, the Boston born band will premiere never-before-seen concert footage from a different decade, every week, on the official Aerosmith website and YouTube channel.

The first release will be Live From The Summit, Houston, TX, 1977, which will feature footage taken from a two night stand in the city and which will be added to Aerosmith's YouTube channel on July 29th
For 50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults, producer Steve Berkowitz, along with long-time Aerosmith employees Tommy Higgins & John Bionelli, combed through the group's vast Vindaloo Vaults, unearthing a treasure trove of filmed concerts recorded in the original formats of the day.
With the help of Director and Producer Jennifer LeBeau (Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon), this footage was carefully transferred and converted to digital. The band are describing the releases as 'official bootlegs' and lasting testimony as to Aerosmith's endurance to this day.
New merchandise will be made available with the releases, with the first collection available to view here. The group are also returning to Las Vegas on September 14th to continue the residency that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic (tickets available here). While the new (old) release, Aerosmith – 1971: The Road Starts Hear, is now available globally on CD and vinyl LP and can now be streamed, here.
This rare recording from 1971 was recently discovered in Aerosmith's Vindaloo Vaults and was originally only available as a limited-edition cassette and vinyl release for Record Store Day in 2021.
