It’s the collaboration we didn’t realise we needed, but that we’re absolutely loving! Foo Fighters have shared a clip for their song from the new Fraggle Rock series, and it involves them jamming onstage together.

In January, Foo Fighters released the song Fraggle Rock Rock, which makes up part of the official soundtrack to Apple TV+’s new show, Back To The Rock. Now, they have dropped the official video for the tune, and it’s as feel-good as you’d hope it would be!

The clip begins with the band performing at a packed venue, with Dave Grohl saying, "Are you ready?" before bursting into the new tune. The video then cuts between the band’s performance and various Fraggles and Doozers playing instruments and dancing.

Then, familiar Fraggles' character Uncle Traveling Matt gets up onstage and plays a bit of air guitar, before taking over from Rami Jaffee on the keyboard. “I’ve got this,” he says, but is soon pushed out of the way by the Foos’ band member.

Undeterred, Uncle Traveling Matt then heads front and centre to join Dave Grohl, while the video continues to cut to other characters from the show, including Red and Wembley, as they get down to the rocky tune.

Even Junior Gorg and Marjory the Trash Heap have a boogie!

The video’s description reads: “Fraggles + Foo Fighters = the rock supergroup we never knew we needed.”

Fraggle Rock was a staple TV show for many kids of the 80s, and now Apple TV+ has rebooted it with its Back To The Rock series. As well at the Foos making an appearance on the show, other guest stars include Ed Helms from The US Office, and Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live).

Among the cast for the revival are Cynthia Erivo, The Office’s Ed Helms, Cynthia Erivo, and Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters will be embarking on a stadium tour around the UK this summer, and their new comedy-horror movie, Studio 666, which will be hitting cinemas from 25 February.

Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock is now streaming on Apple TV+.
