Latitude Festival 2024 announce Bastille DJ set and Virgin Radio Pride Takeover for Late Night line-up

Latitude Festival 2024 will have plenty of major acts after dark when all the fun begins in two weeks time. 

Even more names have been added to the incredible line-up, with the Music Stages seeing the likes of Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, Sam Lee and Laura Misch. 

Virgin Radio presenter Harpz Kaur will be at the helm of The Desi Takeover at the Sunrise Arena. Featuring artists like Jaz Dhami, DJ Sachy, and Beats By Lions, this showcase promises to fuse music and heritage in an unforgettable experience.

The Transgressive 20th Anniversary Sunrise Arena Takeover will feature Hotwax, Mystery Jets and The Waeve, run by Blur’s Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall. 

The In The Woods stage will feature a Bastille DJ set with bandmates Chris “Woody” Wood and Kyle Simmons, as well as Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh on the decks for his own DJ performance. 

Virgin Radio Pride UK will take centre stage with Matt Horton, celebrating LGBTQ+ culture with a vibrant mix of pop-dance and pop-R&B music from the last two decades, ensuring an inclusive and electrifying atmosphere.

The massively impressive Late Night line-up comes just after the likes of Alexei Sayle, Inside No. 9 star Reece Shearsmith and stand-up sensation Russell Kane were announced for the comedy stages

The Cosmic Shambles Network is bringing an array of intellectual and comedic brilliance, with Robin Ince speaking to Reece Shearsmith and Alexei Sayle, while Robin Ince’s Book Corner will feature the likes of legendary comedian Stewart Lee and more.

The multi-award-winning festival returns to the beautiful Henham Park in Suffolk from 25th to 28th July, with headliners Duran Duran, Kasabian, Keane, London Grammar, Sara Pascoe, Jo Brand, and Judi Love already revealed.

Virgin Radio UK is the official broadcast partner for Latitude, and we’ll be broadcasting live on the ground from the event.

The music line-up also includes favourites such as Keane, Nile Rodgers, Rag'n'Bone Man, Rick Astley and Ash.

To get the festival vibes, Ash headed up to the Top of The Tower to perform some of their greatest hits for Virgin Radio, and to chat all about their upcoming Second Stage slot.

Frontman Tim Wheeler told us: “We actually want it to rain, so everyone has to come to the tent… So, let it pour, because the tent will be where the real magic happens!”

Meanwhile, actor-turned musician Damian Lewis spoke to Damian Lewis joined Angela Scanlon on Virgin Radio UK about his upcoming debut at Latitude Festival.

“I think Latitude has developed this reputation of being as being the festival with one of the best lineups every year,” Damian told Angela. 

“So I hope I don’t let them down, but we're playing the second stage on Friday evening, and I’m just really excited to be there with my band. It's going to be fun.”

Latitude Festival will take place at Henham Park, Suffolk, from 25th to 28th July 2024. Tickets for Barclaycard presents Latitude are on sale now.
