Kylie reportedly has a new album in the works.

The new album would be her 17th studio record, and an insider claims she will also release a repackaged version of her most recent album Tension which hit the number one spot.

The source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “Kylie has made it clear to her team this is no time to slow down. Plans are already in motion for the next two albums, one of which will be a repackage of Tension with additional songs. As for the direction of album 17 it’s early days — but a full-on dance album is in the works."

The source added: "The plan is to release the Tension repackage towards the end of the year, with probably up to five new tracks."

Now Kylie has teamed up with hit DJ Joel Corry in the studio and the pair have been working on new music together.

Kylie has also said she would love to duet with Harry Styles or Madonna.

Joel had previously praised Kylie, saying what an "honour" it would be to work with her.

He said:  “Kylie absolutely smashed it last year. She has taken over the charts. I've loved the sound of the singles. They sound really fresh and current. She is pop royalty. It would be an honour to work with her.”

Joel shared a photo of the duo captioned: "Been in LA writing BANGERS all week!! Lucky to work with some very special people Heading back on tour with fresh fireee to test."

Kylie has previously said that she is open to all opportunities, else there is "no hope."

She told Billboard magazine: "I told someone at my label: 'It’s happening now. There’s no snoozing.’”

“I am wildly inspired right now. I’m at a point in my life where I know it’s not eternal. I just want to maximize this brilliant wave.”

"If you’re not out paddling for when that wave comes along, you’ve got no hope.”

As well as dance music, Kylie recently told NME that ”indie pop” music is her "happy place" and that she regularly seeks out new artists. "I just listen to playlists of one song I like which leads me down this trippy path. Who should I seek out tonight? Just putting it out there that indie pop folk is one of my happy places.”

The star has now been photographed in Australia, where she was due to headline a festival, Splendour In The Grass, which was sadly cancelled at the last minute.

She wrote: ”SITG, this must have been a difficult decision.” alongside a crying emoji.

“I was so looking forward to being there and all of us having the best time. Oz, I'm looking forward, now more than ever, to be home and playing shows for you.”
