Summer Sessions 2024: Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, Paloma Faith and more revealed

Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain and Paloma Faith are just some of the names announced for 2024’s Summer Sessions concert series.
The originally Glasgow-based music festival which has now expanded across the UK has revealed several more exciting acts who will be headlining this year’s shows in addition to those already revealed.
Canadian pop-punk superstar Avril Lavigne will be performing one show in Bedford, taking place on Saturday 29th June.
Meanwhile country music legend Shania Twain - who was recently revealed as 2024’s BST Hyde Park’s headliner - will headline two of the series’ shows: the first in Stirling on Tuesday 2nd July and the second in Chepstow on Friday 5th July.
Shania’s performances will mark the first Summer Session to take place in Stirling, and her Chepstow Racecourse-based gig is her first time performing in Wales.
Paloma Faith’s headline Summer Session is coming to Southampton’s Guildhall Square on Friday, 28th June.
Also announced on Monday 12th February for Southampton’s TK Maxx presents Summer Sessions are French electronic music duo Air. The duo’s 27th June show will feature them playing their debut album Moon Safari in full, continuing their current celebration tour of the 25-year-old album.
Other acts announced for 2024’s Summer Sessions across the country include: Tom Jones, who will be performing shows in Plymouth, Southampton, Stirling, Bedford, Chepstow and Derby; Madness, who will be performing gigs in Plymouth, Southampton and Derby; and Bryan Adams, who will be performing in Plymouth on 14th June.
Jess Glynn, Hozier, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Sting, Blondie and Busted are all also acts who will be performing at Summer Sessions across the UK this summer.
