Music lovers might still be recovering from this year’s Glastonbury, but they’re already looking ahead to next year, as the dates of the 2024 dates have been announced.

Whether you were lucky enough to have been there at the weekend, or if you watched it on telly from home, amazing sets from the likes of Foo Fighters and Elton John have surely inspired you to want to get to Worthy Farm next year.

If so, then you need to mark the following dates on your calendar.

As is traditional, next year’s festival will take place on the final weekend of June, with gates opening on Wednesday 26th June, and the festival running until Sunday 30th June.

As yet, there are no details on when tickets will go on sale, but - as an indicator of when they might be available - this year’s festival went on sale last November. It is always something of a scramble to secure a ticket, so you’ll need to have your wits about you when you apply to have any chance of being there, as they will be gone in a heartbeat.

While we wait for more news of a sale date you can register here. To be able to obtain tickets for Glastonbury Festival events you must register.

And who might you get to see if you are fortunate enough to head to Worthy Farm next June? Well, the line-up won’t be announced until long after tickets have gone on sale, so no-one knows for certain what the 2024 line-up will be, but rumours are rife that a certain Taylor Swift might headline on the Sunday.

When the singer-songwriter recently revealed her UK tour dates for next year, fans noticed a very interesting gap in her schedule, in that she has no gig on Sunday 30th June.

Has she kept this clear to reclaim the headline slot that she had to give up in 2020 when the festival was cancelled because of the pandemic?

There has also been speculation about a Spice Girls reunion at the festival, and some fans are wondering if there might be a headline set from Madonna. The Queen of Pop, who has never played at Glastonbury, set to embark on her world tour this July.

Sam Fender, The 1975, and Harry Styles are also being mentioned by bookies, but we’ll just have to patiently wait and see which names are on the line-up. It is usually revealed in the spring.
