It's not just animals and humans we have to look after in the heat. What about poor chocolate bars, too? A video on TikTok has erupted after one woman posted shelves of sad-looking confectionery in a shop.

The clip shows a selection of melted chocolate bars and bags looking very sorry for themselves as they try to keep upright in the aisles of B&M.

Shared by Alice Nadia, the user from West Yorkshire uploaded the 10 second video, which has racked up over 1.4million people and been shared more than 6,000 times.

With warnings of 'a very serious' heat situation and temperatures set to reach 37C this week, the chocolate world has taken a big hit in the heat.

One user commented: "It's like a sauna in there in summer… too tight to pay for air con."

"And people still think chocolate doesn't go in the fridge," stated one person.

"COMPLETELY FORGOT CHOCOLATE IN SHOPS WOULD MELT," admitted one user.

Another joked: "Woo, that’s all going in the reduced bin. Cheap chocolate for me."

One user added: "NOT THE DREAM BARS."

A user penned: "I don't know why I am finding this so funny. I am screaming laughing. It's just the way the ones on the top are bent over like they're saying, pleeeasseee hhheeelllp."

Another suggested: "That’s why the UK needs air con."

Choc horror.
