For truly expensive tastes, a hotel has added an eye-wateringly pricey salad to the menu.
You might want to double check your bank balance before ordering one of these bad boys.
The Beverly Hills Hotel in LA is marking a landmark anniversary with a "special edition" of their famous salad.
The McCarthy salad comes with a whopping price tag of $1,912 (£1,547).
It usually costs $44 (£36) - which some would argue is already expensive - however the new version has been priced in tribute to 1912, the year the hotel was founded.
Neil McCarthy was a local polo captain and regular guest of the Polo Lounge in the 1940s.
He asked for a very specific set of salad ingredients, and it was so popular it was added to the menu.
The usual salad features two types of lettuce, grilled chicken, beetroot, eggs and avocado.
The dressing features dijon mustard, roasted garlic and balsamic vinegar.
So what's different about the fancy version?
For £1,500, it features lobster, caviar and gold flakes.
Not only that but it will arrive via white-gloved waiters in a bowl specially made by French porcelain house Bernardaud.
It also comes with a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne.
Erm... bargain?
Some of the proceeds will go to Los Angeles historic preservation charity LA Conservancy.
Previously the most expensive salad was made in 2003 at London’s Hempel Hotel.
There was a £635 “Florette Sea and Earth salad” created by chef Raymond Blanc.
It featured beluga caviar and grated truffle, as well as lobster.
Would you give it a try?
