We've all got our favourite colour of Walkers, haven't we? And now the crisp giant has revealed the nation's tastiest and you won't believe the results. Ready Salted? Cheese and Onion? Salt and Vinegar? Or maybe Worcester sauce and Marmite?
Move over Flamin’ Hot et al. Drumroll, please... the most popular flavoured packet is.... the classic Cheese and Onion.
It's even been included in their meaty multipack of (veggie friendly) Roast Chicken, Smoky Bacon and Prawn Cocktail even though it's not a meat-flavour.
Although crisp fans have memories of Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps being green, while blue was Salt and Vinegar, the brand say: "Our Salt and Vinegar and Cheese & Onion flavour crisps packs have always been the colours they are today.
"Contrary to popular belief, we’ve never swapped the colours around, not even temporarily. We’ve no plans to change these designs, as they’re signature to our brand."
Walkers explains where the muddle may come from: "Squares were originally produced by Smiths, before becoming part of Walkers in 1989. So to avoid confusion, [Walkers has] left their classic pack colours unchanged."
