There aren't many more gag-inducing household chores to tackle than the dreaded removal of hair out the drain. Thankfully, Mrs Hinch fans have enlightened us with a top tip.

One struggling person asked for advice on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips group on Facebook about what to use on her blocked drains.

"My bath pipe has serious hair blockage," she wrote.

"Tried drain unblocker liquid and powder but just no luck. It takes hours for my bath to drain.

"Are they any household products I can use?"

Savvy followers commented in their droves about what method was best - and the surprisingly popular answer was none other than hair removal cream mixed with warm water then simply poured down the drain.
