What do you dream about? Sausages? Oh, just us then...
Actually, according to research by Mornings.co.uk, the most commonly searched dream in the UK is about your teeth falling out. It's Googled upwards of 41,000 times per month!
A study by the University of Colorado found that people who had this dream 'were significantly more anxious and depressed, had lower ego strength, were less satisfied with their lives, felt they had less control over their lives, and felt helpless more often than the control subjects who dreamt of flight.'
Having the dream could also mean that you're going through a period of self-doubt, frustration, or fear. Which sounds like everyone we know. Because 2022.
The second most searched for dream in the UK is snakes, which is daft since there are only three species of snake native to the UK: grass snake, adder and smooth snake. Then it's hair. Weirdos.
The research also showed that people across the world dream of snakes more than any other subject. Of the 52 countries surveyed, more than one third dreamt of them. Turns out that if you do, it suggests you're worried about an unknown threat. Like hairy snakes, perhaps.
