You’ll have to hurry because it’s only here for a limited time.

The classic Big Mac, complete with two beef patties and that delicious signature sauce, has been a staple of the menu at McDonald's in the UK since it was introduced in 1974.

Now, the fast-food chain is giving their chicken lovers a chance to get in on the action by introducing a chicken Big Mac for the first time in the UK.

Instead of two beef patties, there will be two crispy chicken fillets paired with the same signature sauce.

The restaurant is introducing this new addition in 1,300 restaurants from 2 February, but you’ll have to act quick, because it will be disappearing again after 15 March.

This limited-edition chicken Big Mac will also be 50p more expensive than the classic beef version, costing £4.09 for the sandwich by itself. For a medium meal it will cost you £5.59 and a large is £5.99.

If you simply cannot wait until February you could follow the trick that other McDonald’s lovers have being using by ordering two mayo chicken sandwiches and constructing your own chicken Big Mac- although you wont get that incredible sauce.

Also returning to the McDonald’s menu on the same day will be the double Big Mac. Mozzarella dippers, Galaxy chocolate and salted caramel Mcflurries are making a comeback too.

Not only that, but the Chicken Legend sandwich will finally be returning to menus after fans got heated last year when the fast-food chain removed it.

This news comes after they decided to scrap the breakfast bagel and wrap this week.

Now, if you excuse us, we’re going to start queueing at McDonald's ready for 2 February.
