Think microwave cooking is easy? You may have been heating food wrong forever

This has blown microwaving minds. A woman on TikTok has posted a heating-food hack and made the internet question the most basic of cooking techniques.

User @tanyahomeinspo shared the video and explained that instead of placing our food in the CENTRE of the microwave, we should be putting it on the EDGE to make sure it circulates round the microwave and gets an even distribution of heat.

She explained: "You know when you reheat food and some parts of it are hot enough to burn your mouth and a part of it is still frozen?

"Well that happens because you shouldn't have your food in the middle of the plate here, it should be on the edge so it can rotate around and cook evenly."
