The ten ‘Famous Fugitives’ taking part in Celebrity Hunted for Stand Up To Cancer 2023 have been announced.

The reality series will see stars attempt to stay off the radar from the 'Hunters', and they will use any means necessary to remain at large for two weeks.

Those taking part in this special fifth series include comedians and hosts of the Off Menu Podcast, Ed Gamble and James Acaster, Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones and former Olympic snowboarder Aimee Fuller and life-change experts Nik and Eva Speakman.

Rounding out the Celeb Hunted cast are social media and former Strictly star Saffron Barker, TV mathematician Bobby Seagull and Coronation Street actress Nicole Thorpe with boyfriend and Starstruck actor Nikesh Patel.

The celebrities will be taking part for Stand Up To Cancer, the joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.

The stars will be largely on their own as they attempt to escape the Hunters, who are made up of former police officers, intelligence and army personnel. Seeing as those famous faces are also pretty recognisable, will the stars be able to remain undetected?

Ian Dunkley, Commissioning Editor for Factual Entertainment at Channel 4 said in a statement: “We are delighted to be bringing back one of the most thrilling nationwide chase games with an esteemed group of celebrities supporting the amazing efforts of Stand Up To Cancer.”

Tom Hutchings, Executive Producer for production company Shine TV added: "Get ready for the adventures of our best set of celebrity fugitives ever as we release them, for the first time, in epic prison break-out style!

“Expect the unexpected as our fugitives enlist the help of their celebrity friends, hide out in the most daring locations and get chased around the UK by our fearless team of Hunters, headed up by Chief Lisa Theaker."

Last year, the likes of Olympic silver medallist Iwan Thomas, Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead, actress Chizzy Akudolu, So Solid member Lisa Maffia, Drag Race winner The Vivienne and reality TV star Chloe Veitch attempted to evade the expert trackers.

Made in Chelsea stars Ollie and Gareth Locke-Locke were famously almost captured just 15 minutes into their appearance after getting into a bright yellow, three-wheeled car, which wasn’t the most inconspicuous vehicle.

Amazingly, the pair decided to later ditch the car and run on foot, and managed to get out of the eyeline of detectives both on the ground and in a helicopter.

Who knows what hunter high jinks 2023 will bring!

Celebrity Hunted for Stand Up To Cancer will air on Channel 4 at the end of March.
